Dry skin, hair falling out, low energy. we changed my synthryoid to armor and i was having the same problems but only now its worse. Anyone my tsh has gone over a year and half from 1.76 to. 93 And t4 has been on low normal. | Do you have a copy of your labs. Those numbers don't make sense could you have possibly misheard your numbers. I've been hypothyroid for 12 years and have had a lot of problems managing my thyroid over the years. I've seen a couple docs for it over the years and I finally have normal numbers on my labs. If that is the correct numbers I think I would have them redrawn to make sure and I would recommend seeing an endocrinologist. |

Location: North Dakota | I finally found a doctor who believed me that I had EVERY symptom of hypothyroidism a year ago. I've been on Armor and feel better than ever. I was addicted to energy drinks (hence my name) and now I haven't had one in over 3 months! If you're feeling worse on armor I'd get a hold of your doctor or something, cause that definitely does not sound right! |

Can you please PM me with who you went to?? My doctor just seems to think because my "range" in normal that I'm making all my symptoms up and won't change my medication. I've talked to her several times about my mood, weight gain, etc and she just wants me to see a psychiatrist and have me put on anti depressants. LOL I'm not depressed, I believe its because of my thyroid and I DO NOT want to be taking unneccessary psychotropic medication. |

Location: North Dakota | I have had hypo for 9 years. My blood work is always balanced but I feel like crap. The past few years I have lost half my hair and just the last few months now I have lost a good portion of my eye-brows and even half the hair on my arms. I can sleep 12 hours and still wake up feeling tired. I can't drink caffeine or I feel faint so I have to deal with being tired all the time. My DR also wanted me to get on anti-depressants but I am not depressed I just feel like crap!!!!!!!!! I feel like cotton balls are jammed in my throat all the time! |

Location: Kansas | I had gone to the doctor and my number were off and they wanted me on synthoid (sp?) I said no way. They freaked out told me I had to be and they kept calling me and trying to do more blood work etc. I said no I will figure it out by taking supplements. I got some stuff with spirulina/chlorella and I went to a kinesiologist and he put me on 4 drops of Sea-adine which is Bio-available liquid Iodine and I have never felt better. I do not ever do what doctors tell me they seem to want you on a prescription for something. I would rather fix the reason for the problem than take something that is a bandaide. |

Wow, that's interesting. What does the chlorella/spirulina stuff do? I've read good things about the liquid iodine supplements especially the Lugols solution. |

My mom was hyperthyroid for years before flipping to hypo. Never could get where she wanted to be on synthroid, so she started a natural regimen including bio-available iodine. Not only does she FEEL better, but her numbers on her labs are better. Her doc was dumbfounded. LOL |

| I had been onmsythroid for a longtime starting with the generic, then my labs where all over the place after going on the real, stuff it did level off but last year started feeling tired again and skin was real dry even in summer had my doc take levels again it was a little lop sided like it is now in march went to a armor started feeling better but about 2 months ago started feeling bad. My temp in am is still 97.6, my eyebrows are thin from middle over, i extreanly tired, face is puffy, hair falling out. I feel just like i did when i first started with hypothryoid. Folks those numbers are real and tomorrow i will have a copy of my bloodwork my pulmonary doc did she called me told me it was a thryoid problem. I just did not realize itmwas a little complicated. If tsh is high it is trying to bump up the t4 which is long and short of it or the armor is giving too much t3.
