I can't imagine anything more disgraceful than to sue the family of a dead war hero....especially if you are a former Navy Seal. If anyone knocked Jesse Ventura on his ass they ought to be applauded. I think the man is abnormally paranoid. |

Jessie was apparently worried about his reputation...well...he has certainly cemented himself in history as a total heartless loser in my book. |

| Slug, pond scum, heartless. The irony is he did htis for his reputation and "loss of work", does he think he is going to get any work after this??? Hope he does not get a dime, he saids it is not about the $$, we will see if he pursues the judgment. I hope his widow has already moved her assets into someone elses name.

| I sure would like to know the facts on exactly when he started this lawsuit. Was it before or after the money donated to the Chris Kyle memorial fund? Todd and Sarah Palin donated all of Todd's winnings from the Iron Dog, along with countless other people who truly wished to help Kyle's family.
Disgusting. |

| There are estimated profits of 6 million from the book that Kyle wrote in which this story of him decking Ventura was included. |

I like that idea (not that he'll use it) but donate it back to wounded warriors. |

No one has suggested he should have not sued while Kyle was alive but continuing the lawsuit against his estate, essentially suing his wife and children, that is scum. He had the opportunity to handle this a different way.

Location: Dassel MN | im not goin to judge him. All we have to go off is the slanted media on this. Jesse when he was our govenor did a lot of good. Now dont get me wrong i will not claim perfection but he did a lot of good things along with some not so good. Now keep in mind this was many moons ago, i knew him when he was our govenor. on a personal level away from the office so to speak, he was a great guy. The kind that you could sit back and talk with believe it or not. I enjoyed him. His wife was so kind and nice also. One thing i did learn is he will fight for what he believes to be truth every single time. I may not always agree with his belief on what is right but i do respect the hell out of him as he is not afraid to stand and fight for his beliefs. if you saw him walking down the street and said hey Jesse want a coffee? you bet he would sit down and have a coffee with you. he is a nice guy believe it or not. Well educated and a thinker combined with a strong opinion strong beliefs and a willingness to take a stand for them, seems to mak him a bad guy in many peoples minds.

My hubby read the book and doesn't remember anything about Kyle saying or doing anything to Ventura. Did he even name names? Did the general public even know it was Ventura he was talking about in the book? Seriously, I don't know...
I just can't believe Ventura won. All this lawsuit did was ruin his reputation on his own with his ignorance. |

I don't believe that he did mention him, by name, in his book only called him the scruff bag (or something like that....Later, in interviews, he used his name after interviewers used it.......Right or wrong legally, the right thing for Ventura to do, would have been to dismiss the case upon the man's death......

Google Chris Kyle. It happened at a shooting range by a mentally ill person. Kyle has the most unconfirmed sniper kills in history. I think he served 4 or 5 tours overseas. |

He has the most confirmed kills in US history, PLUS many more unconfirmed/classified/whatever kills.
The book is AMAZING. |

There's a memorial edition with passages from Taya, friends, fellow warriors, etc. It's a little more expensive than the first edition, but well worth it. Excellent book that I'll definitely read again. |

You may also want to check out another book by Chris; American Gun: A History of the U.S. in Ten Firearms. They both look great and I plan on getting them both.

I am very confident that she will be fine though. Because I can't imagine that if the need arises, there will be plenty of people to support her.
Yes, buy the book. Please. |

| The book was a very good read. Definitely some insight into what our military personnel go through on a daily basis. And I try to remember it can always be worse when I want to complain about something. Jesse Ventura was a blip on my radar before I read the book and he continues to be a blip on my radar post book reading. His reputation was already in place before any words were written by Chris Kyle. |
