I posted a while ago asking if anyone had this condition or diabetes and how to manage it while traveling and riding (you guys were a big help by the way). I just wanted to thank everyone for the advice because IT WORKED. I haven't passed out, I haven't gotten dizzy, and I haven't fallen off Mr. Lee from being to weak to hold myself up in the saddle. I cut out gluten, wheat, and processed foods and I only eat vegetables and very small portions of lean meats. It's very hard to do on the road because well... Chocolate Debbie cakes and Lay's potatoe Chips used to call my name every convient store stop! LOL
However, after three weeks of bed rest and medications (And 15 pounds down later, I'm not complaining...) I've started jumping on the gelding every evening after work just to play. (My SO even spoon fed me soup in bed because I just couldn't get up..) Our little girl made me tea with her princess tea set and layed with me while we sipped tea out of her Cinderalla playskool fine china. (Has your child ever done something this sweet!? I cried.)
I have been working with my doctor and nutritionist and well... I'm back and feel better than ever! Doc said I had gotten sick from a mosquito bite as well on top of everything else going on.
Guess I just wanted to thank everyone who commented or DM'd me with advice and hugs. It means an awful lot to have BB's that send prayers and cares that you've never met before. YOU GUYS ROCK!
