Location: North Dakota | LOVED my contender, but it didn't fit my horse so I sold it. I liked the undercut swells, they really help hold you in, and the flatter ground seat. I felt like I was sitting down on my horse's back instead of being perched like some saddles make you feel. They are very well built in my opinion, great leather and craftmanship, but be prepared for a wait....a very long wait. I think for the two I owned each one took approximately 9-10 months to build. |

Location: Silver Lake, MN | Love them!! There are a few used ones available. I have a very average mare that it fits her great. I got a finalist for my other horse that has a little bigger gullet, I wish it had the undercut swells too but I still love them. Very balanced ride and close contact which I love. |

Location: The Oklahoma plains. | I have had many Shiloh's and Autry's but only tried a Contender once. I did not like it at all. To me, it pushed me up behind. But others say they like the tall cantle, so I guess I would suggest trying someone's before you buy and as mentioned, might be better off buying used as the wait time is long on new ones. |

Here is the facebook group Shiloh Saddles For Sale or Wanted - https://www.facebook.com/groups/685973018181330/
I just won a Jordan Briggs Finalist made by Shiloh and love it. It fits a wide verity of horses and has a deeper seat than my Ed Wright. |

Location: Texas!! | I bought 2 Shiloh saddles off John Floyd's facebook group. My daughter picked the Cecil Phillips one up last Wednesday, she LOVES IT! I rode in it this weekend, I LOVE IT! So I ordered the second (a Jerri Mann) on Friday, it's being shipped today! I was told the Cecil Phillips rides like the Contender and the Jerri Mann rides like the Finalist. I paid less than a $1000 for each of them, so we will ride in both of these and decide which style we like best before having one made. Plus our riding styles are totally different, she is aggressive and I am timid, we will see if that makes a difference.

I had bought an older 12" Jerri Mann for my daughter for when she outgrows her 10". My butt didn't really fit, but I tried it on my horses anyway just because. I liked it so much that I bought one in my size. It's a little tight on my gelding's big shoulders, but it fits everything else in the barn. Love the elk seat btw. |

Location: Texas | Get 1/2 to full size smaller. I love mine about to order two more. Be prepared to wait a year unless you can find a used one. Mine fit everything but I use 5 star pads so that pad helps saddles fit perfectly. |
