I got asked to be on a guest blog to talk about the inspiration behind Lost Betrayal. I am hoping that this brings some awareness to large animal disaster rescue and the efforts and groups that are trying to help. I just learned of another great group in Texas that is not mentioned in the blog- they are actually part of the State Animal Dept from what I understand. Thanks for sharing! A friend of mine is getting her PhD in Disaster Relief for Animals. That's not the exact name, but I don't remember it off the top of my head. She is going to Texas A&M and used to work for Houston SPCA.
