I have never been to a Talmadge clinic so this is just by thought, sometimes it is extremely hard to ride after a guy, I do think they train differently. I will say Max & Allie Chouest ride with Talmadge and they kick some serious butt. They've been riding with him for awhile so I would say yes to kids. I think Jackie Jatzlau is a great clinician but I would suggest ages 10 and up, you need good listening skills because you get alot of one on one time with her and so much room to learn!

It can be hard to "ride after" anyone as everyone rides and handles a horse so differently. However, when it comes to going to clinics, I believe in going to as many as possible as you can learn a little something from everyone. It's not like your sending a horse off to them for 6 months to train and compete on...it's just a clinic. I've been to many over the years and have picked up something from every single one of them. Talmadge's was one of the best and came highly recommend to us at the time, which was quite a few years ago now. He's great with adults and kids, too. I'd absolutely go to another as my bet is he's increased his knowledge and tweaked a few things himself over the years, as we all do.

Runs4fun..............I totally agree. with you. I was not sending a horse to him. Just wanting to learn something new and get tweaked from a different set of eyes. Thanks so much for your input!
Outrundaisey............I totally agree that Jackie Jatzlua puts on an amazing clinic. She is amazing with children and adults both.
