Location: Texas | Ok I have to brag on my hubby for a minute. We have been working to get ahead and this weekend he asked me if I wanted a new truck or a new trailer? I was driving a 2010 3/4 ton Diesel Ram with 145k miles pulling a 99 4 star 4 horse with a small LQ. I told him truck so I never expected for us to get the grand daddy of trucks and end up with a Laramie. We got a smoking deal on a left over 2013 and that sucker has more options than I ever knew existed lol. It is amazing and I love it. I grip about him a bunch but he is a good man who works hard and loves me! He may not love the horses or want to go to a lot of barrel races but he wants to make sure I have a safe and dependable rig to go down the road in.

Yes he has two brother but they are both taken.
He is taking over the 2010 as he has always loved that truck.

| We are all just kidding we need more husbands like that. Most of themtime theymgripe about the horses they are just jellous aboutmthe attention the horses get because they think,it takes away from then. |

How much fun is it to sit around for hours watching sometimes hundreds of barrel racers you don't know.....you don't know what makes a good run....to see your wife, SO or whomever run for about 15 seconds. I have thought about this and it probably wouldn't be a lot of fun.

| Congrats! When a spouse buys something for the other spouse, isn't it really a gift to yourself from the both of you? So thank yourself for buying the truck as well since it is your money too. LOL

Oh I agree I don't mind that he doesn't go very often because I feel like I have to entertain him while he is there. He usually only comes to smaller ones where we won't be there all day or sometimes if it is not to far away he will meet me there to watch my run so he doesn't have to sit around all day lol. |

Location: Lost in the corn of Iowa. | Sounds like my hubby. We just bought a new trailer and he told me that he wants to keep upgrading every 6-8 yrs. He says watching the barrel race is like watching paint dry, but he wants me to be happy and safe. Congrats on the new truck!!! |

Location: My happy place | Congrats!!! I have one of those good husbands too. We bought one for our 35th anniversary and we love it, haven't pulled anything yet. Ours is a 2014 3500 DRW 4x4 and the mileage just keeps getting better 17 to 18 at about 15,000 miles. We are very happy after replacing a 2004 never dreamed the mileage would be as good as the old one. What color did you get? I never dreamed I would own red but the deep cherry crystal sure changed my mind, we always get white I love the sparkles. |

To much responsibility. I put the first rock chip in the window (well I should say a darn gravel truck did) and I wanted to cry. I did not want to tell him about it! He told me he was glad I was the first one to do it and not him....hahaha! |
