| Denton, Tx supposed to have a race Saturday-right in the hottest part of the day-3 pm. Not sure if I'm going due to when they're starting it. |

It's a barrel race only and from what I gather they're having a four week series (month of August) and must attend two to qualify for awards. Horntown is right by Holdenville... probably a little bit more map friendly! |

Location: Ok | Every Thursday night we open up our training track to barrel racers from 6pm-9pm. Hot Walker and wash area available for after works. Some people work alone, some with company, and some just gallop. We hand clock those that wish to be timed.
Food available as well. No charge, must show coggins at the gate and sign a release, other than that not alot to it.
Not a barrel race but great for hauling young ones and getting some 'real' wind in those already running.
Come see us! (check out Facebook Winter Creek Farms, Alex, OK or Eye Soar Alex OK for more info and weekly updates)
Photographer usually available.
Have a great week! |

They do have a open rodeo scheduled that is coming up. Horntown is south of Wetumka and North of Calvin on Hwy 75, arena is just south of town on Hwy 75 and back off the highway to the west.
Its a BIG sandy pen. |

You better mean that..... because I will take you up on it!! We have a yard out in Lindsay and if wasn't rocked and no place to really keep my barefoot horse I'd haul out some Thursday evening and just stay the night with my husband and head home on a Friday morning! Maybe he'll need to work a weekend sometime soon or my weekends will be free and I'll head out! |
