Just wondering what supplements are worth the money? And what ones to avoid?

Equir-Sure is the only supplement I give mine, I'm normally just a high quality feed and mineral girl, but I'm liking my leap into using the Equi-Sure

I am a huge fan of Platnium Performance. I have used it for years and love the way my horses look and feel on it. Especially the older horses

Platinum Performance all the way!! I use the regular formula and the CJ formula on my horses and love it! I also take it myself and love how it makes me feel. What I really like about Platinum is first of all the results but also the research and quality control that they provide. They are also great to call up if you have any questions...you always get to talk to really nice friendly people that are very knowledgable.

LOVE forco. Started my colt on it the end of june and he looks amazing. He has just bloomed on it. His coat looks amazing, its so soft sleek and shiny. His mane and tail have also gotten thicker and longer. I also am very pleased with the results I am seeing from THE nutrawound. My colt cut his leg awhile back and since I started feeding this it has helped quite a bit.

I feed Adeptus Augment and Mushroom Matrix ECP. I've worked with the owners of both companies and believe 100% in their products. You'll hear everyone say what is their favorite. I would do research and figure out which ones interest you and then go from there. I also use the Adeptus and Mushroom Matrix human products on myself. I've felt better and have far less pain in my knees from the mushroom matrix.

I feed MSM and Psyllium. I prefer injectible (IM) joint supplements, but I add in MSM because it is cheap. (I have also considered adding FORCO because I feel that is a good product, but have not yet)

I personally don't feed the need to add in many supplements if the horse has no "special needs" and it is getting a decent diet.

I think it's a personal preference thing, but IMO too many of the supplements out there are overpriced for the results you get with them, and the money is better spent on other options, but again that is JMHO

I just started Platinum Performance. I feed hay only. My horse loves it and looks great. I also like Equipride but my horse would not eat it.

Platinum Performance - most DEFINITELY worth the money spent.

I have seen a difference in older and young horses. I too, only feed hay/forage with it and mine look and feel GREAT!!! The customer service is fabulous and I love the products.

I will give the Forco a big thumbs up as well.  I also love the Equibone by TLC and feed it to everything all of the time at the maintenance dose.

I would love to use Platinum, but I honestly cannot wrap my head around spending that much for a supplement. So if you got the income and don't care, Platinum all the way. If you're like me, I love Accel by Farnam for just vitamins. I have my horses on Omega Horseshine and I love the results on their coats, hooves, and the pysillium for their guts. For just joints I love Majesty Wafers w/ HA. I've tried others but it worked best for my horse for the buck.

I honestly haven't done the math on it, but I do believe it makes a difference in my horses.
