Location: MI | My birthday is coming up and I'm creating my birthday present. I have a 3.5yo colt that is doing well with what I've been able to do with him, but that's not a lot. He w/t/c, turns on the forehand and hind. I am working on transitions with him, and he is doing well. Needs work on bending/collecting, he gets the idea but isn't able to hold it for long.
So your choices:
1. Double Dan clinic "Basic Body Control Under Saddle" about an hour from me. I'm not sure if it's 1 or 2 days, he's here for 2 but I don't know if it's the same both days? Anyway, it's an option.
2. Lessons at a dressage barn down the road from me. I thought of contacting them and seeing if I could take 3-6 lessons. I know it's not a lot, but it's $45/45min. The instructors there seem to have good experience, it is a nice place.
What would you do? Or, any other ideas? |
