I have read somewhere that some of the stallions in Brazil are shipped back to the US for breeding season but I would think that some of the stallions have frozen semen available from their previous owners.

Their breeding season is also at a much different time than ours, so the odds of them collecting during the time frame we are used to breeding would be pretty low I would imagine. Most stallions sent there have frozen available in the US.

In 2015 and 2016 there will be several barrel racing stallions that will be sending semen back to USA and the start of Brazilian Stallion Incentive Program.
When details are ready I will share here on BHW.

Wait... I'm missing something here.... are you saying stallions are less enthusiastic about covering because of the time of year? (not the stallions I've met)
