Question for everyone. I have a mare that is maybe 15.1 and am interested in breeding her to a stud that is 14.3. But he throws nice hips and shoulders. How good are my odds that it will be at least 15 hands?

That's not really a SHORT horse so I wouldn't be concerned about how tall he is. I feel your chances of getting a 15h horse is pretty good. Probably won't get one 16 hands but then that's not really what you want.

Okay thank you.  15 hands is plenty tall enough for me. Just want their butts to be bigger than mine. Lol.
