Soo I sold a saddle a couple weeks ago. I had ridden in it that week since I hadn't ridden in it in years to make sure it was still in good shape. Well, the piece of leather(don't know what it's called) that holds the girth on the saddle...not the strap to tighten broke on this saddle so I took the one off my good saddle and put it on there to ride in it....and then I sold it on there!!
But the worst part is....I didn't realize it until I was an hour and a half away at a barrel race with only that saddle!!!!
Luckily my parents were coming and grabbed another saddle for me and until then my oh so handy SO rigged it up for me for my exhibitions....I'm always the person checking and checking to make sure I have everything and then this happens. Face meet palm!!
Just thought I would share my bonehead story for everyone LOL
