I was injured 2 weeks ago and lost 2 front teeth, while healing for implants they built me a flipper...I picked it up today It does help stabilize the third tooth they think I might look however if I wear it for very long it triggers my gag reflex. Can someone tell me how to get past that? I am having a horrible time getting used to it?
thanks in advance

Oh Hugs!!!

I had a flipper while my bridge was being built. I had to literally teach myself to breathe. Mind you I was a young'n at the time and had NO idea what I was doing. My mom would sit me down, calm me down, and we'd do a breathing thing where I had to concentrate on in through my nose and out through my mouth breathing. It helped me alot. Maybe find someone to help you concentrate? Sorry you are dealing with this ... it sucks but does get better!

Good Luck!

Chin up. I know exactly what it feels like. Sorry I don't have more advice other than feel free to vent away at me :) I will listen.
