I don't know how people that raise/train/sell horses for a living do it without just going postal on people! I seriously have to give you kudos because I know if I had a nice prospect advertised on my facebook page and someone ask if it was papered... I would probably come back with a comment like "no, I just got her from a killer pen but she sure is nice."

If you didn't list her registered name or a link to her pedigree, how can you get mad?

I would have asked too.

It wasn't something I listed, it was a well known trainer. I just think it's common sense after seeing what it was priced at.

Not true, I have seen many that are ages 3 and up, they list the sire and dam, say AQHA, but when I call, no not papered, but could be. Well that may not be possible if the dam was born before such a date she didn't have to be DNA'd and now she is dead. The colt needs to be parantage verified, so now cannot be registered.

Also some people say registered, but when I call, the papers were lost, or the previous owner would not release the papers

There are a lot of people that misrepresent horses.

I ask on every horse, do you have the papers in hand? If they say yes, then please post them.

I inquired on a FDD horse, to me the FDD horse means direct daughter/son. FDD was one off of the papers.

All these horses were prospects, with a big enough price tag to be registered with papers in hand, and a direct descendent.

You have a valid point that there are definetly a lot of misrepresented horses.
