we are in the process of converting our front part of the trailer into a living quarters and we are considering using a portable A/C. Does any of you use/have portable air conditioner in your trailers? What are your thoughts?

In the front of our horse trailer we built a slide in piece to put in the door from the living quarters to the horses. In this piece we place a window unit air conditioner. Works real slick and keeps the front cool.

A couple years I bought a little run around trailer so we didn't have to haul the big trailer everywhere.
The people I bought it from put an AC in it. They cut a piece out from under the nose of the trailer and put in a window unit. They sealed it up pretty good and it is kind of out of sight out of mind. It doesn't take up any room in the dressing room. We have only used it once in the 3 years I have owned the trailer but it worked really well.
