Location: At A Barrel Race! | What are your guys opinion on which one is better?
I have the Galaxy now, but my mom just got the Iphone and said I can switch her phones if I want.
I am basically just using my phone for texting/calling and for social media sites. And I just take photos and videos of my horses barrel racing occasionally.
My Galaxy I got a year ago, the Iphone is brand new.
(Whichever one has the longest battery life would be ideal as well)
I don't really know a lot about the Iphones.. Just looking for opinions. Thanks! |

Location: wherever my gypsy soul lands | The galaxy is horrible!! I've had 4 in the last YEAR!! The radio went out of 2, I broke the screen on one, and the one I have now I've only had 3 months and the radio is already going out of it too. Ugh. Thankfully that's a manufacturer defect and it's free to replace.
I've never owned an iPhone so no help there. |

So far mine has been perfect. No problems. But I've always heard they're bad, and I don't want to turn the iPhone down and have mine break a couple weeks later.. because that would be my luck. |

| I have the Galaxy S4. I love the bigger screen and the "swype" keyboard. I have such a hard time trying to use an iPhone to send messages because you have to actually type lol.
Honestly, I think they are both going to do the same things, it will just come down to what you're used to! I have had zero problems with my phone. It has a hairline crack in the screen because I dropped it on our bathroom tile without a case on, but that's my fault...not the phone! |

Location: GA | I switched from droid to iPhone and it was the best decision! You can still get swype on the iPhone with an app but I didn't care that much about it.
My droid seemed to get very spammy in the first year. I've heard that's because their apps aren't protected like Apple's are - but I can't confirm so don't hold me to it! I've had my iPhone 5 for 2 years and it still works like it did brand new. I keep it in a lifeproof case so the phone itself looks brand new too.
Obviously I'm pro iPhone but go with whatever you like using! I also didn't like the huge screens on the droids which is another reason I switched.

Location: Oklahoma | I have both. I-phone for work and S4 for my peronal.
I would never touch my phone if my only choice was the I-phone. The S4 is so much easier to customize and you can do a lot more with it. This is the 2nd one I have had. I just got a warranty replacement due to the first phone not charging, I made it in on warranty by a week. I use my phone pretty hard for work even though I have a work phone.
I prefer the S4 for videos and pics, they just turn out better. If that is mostly what you do then I suggest keeping your phone. |

I miss my note 3 and the huge screen, but I love my 5. I still use my note 3 for music and to type up documents while on the job.
I hate my iphone. I just use it for my other job because the IOS platform |

Location: California | Absolutely hated the Galaxy. Returned it first thing when they opened the day after I bought it . Too big for my hands , and the camera is awful.
I have had the iPhone 4 and loved it . Upgraded to the 5 and still love it. Hubby has the S5 now and likes it but I still think they are HUGE and not anything I will try again.

| LOVE my iphone. I've had the same one for 3 years. ZERO problems.
I will probably upgrade to the 6 when it comes out, if It's not too much bigger. I love the size of my iphone 4s. |

Location: At A Barrel Race! | My Galaxy is fine, I love the camera on mine.
Maybe I just got lucky and got a good Galaxy? xD
Anyways, does anyone know if the iPhone can use Cromecast?
I know my Galaxy can, and if the iPhone can't, I'll probably be sticking to my Galaxy. |

| I've had an iPhone, a Galaxy S3 and now have the S5. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my S5. Loved my S4 too. I can pin things to Pinterest that can't even be pinned on the computer (from Facebook for example) and I love that the battery can be taken out so you could just carry an extra battery if you like.
Also, the Samsungs are one of the very few phones that still have an SD card. Most phones are going to cloud storage. I love having the SD card to keep my photos, etc on. |

Location: Kansas | I had my choices narrowed down to an iphone, HTC or galaxy. The galaxcy won out because of the SD card for added storage, otherwise it would have been the HTC. So far it has been a great phone and I love it. I like the bigger screen and feel for a phone the camera is good

Location: Madill Ok | Have had an S3, loved it, best camera Ive seen. I just upgraded to S5 and love it even more. Texing features (keys) are much better than S3 for some reason they made it much easier to type on it. Camera is still great too. Only thing I wish is the volume would be louder than it is.
only drawback is.... The new S5 is larger than the S3, but heard they offer a slimmer version of the S5. |

 Go For It!
Location: Texas | I had an iPhone for years and switched to the Galaxy S4 when they came out. I hated it at first because I was unfamiliar with operating it and I didn't want to have to learn something new, lol. But now I LOVE my phone and would never go back to the iPhone. And everything else I have is Apple, so I've always been a fan. My husband has an iPhone 5 and I can't stand to use it now that I've gotten accustomed to my Samsung.

Location: Texas | I had the iPhone 4s for two years and absolutely hated it. It gave me problems from the first week I had it until I got rid of it. It froze almost every day and more often than not when I would go to use the camera my phone would restart itself.
I got the Samsung Galaxy S5 back in April and I absolutely love it. I will never have another iPhone again. The s5 is really nice and is way more customizable than the iPhone. The battery also lasts quite a bit longer. I can charge it overnight and not need to put it on the charger for almost two days and I use my phone quite a bit during the day. My iPhone's battery would last maybe 8 hours. |

| The camera is pretty darn good! There are certain shots where it's not so great, but it still much better than most phone cameras. |

| I love the Andriod system! So simple to use, yet you can customize almost everything! The camera on the back of the phone has 13 megapixles, a huge seller for me. I have used others iphones for short periods of time, they are too small and seem complicated. I like siri on the iphone, however I figured out Andriod has their own. This last month I have started having problems with my Galaxy S4, "No SIM." ATT has changed out the SIM card 3 times, resets and now I'm getting a new phone, manafucters warranty-good for one year. |
