| Yes, lots of us use massage, chiro, acupuncture as part if our program. It is a great tool for your horse along with good vet work if needed. |

| Yup.
My older mare totally falls asleep during it. She drops her head and sighs and very muchly enjoys the heck out of a good massage :) I figure it's the least I can do for her occasionally for putting up with all the random stuff I ask her to do! |

Location: SE KS | I won a certificate at a barrel race. So now my pony will be getting a massage!!! So I "needed" some feedback (reassurance) about them!!! Trying to line up several in my area so that she will come to us!!!

Location: on my horse | I've been an Equine Massage Therapist for going on three years now and it was one of the best things I've been able to do for my horses! They love it, it definitely helps extend time between chiropractic appointments and in some cases I've been able to fix issues myself.

Location: Dubach, LA | I'm a therapist also, and I can tell you how many horses it's helped - all of them. Unfortunately, I do sports massage so it's not drop your head feel good stuff. It can hurt if the horse has lots of muscle issues, so the horse may appear stressed during the massage but it feels better and works better after massage. |

So true! This is why I generally use my Magnawave. Most horses in lots of pain (yes, some still work!) don't want you to touch them. You can't tell them that it will feel better afterwords, just deal with it.
Most massage therapist just give your horse a good "rub down" basically. Yes, it feels great. The best way to know for yourself is to get a sports massage yourself and then you'll understand completely (; |

I've never run into a horse that won't let me work. Some are way more difficult than others but so far, I've always won the battle. It just goes with the ability to read the horse. |

My horse's love it (they loved Afleet's Magnawave too ;) ). I do have a couple that don't like my massage girl. One was the first horse I ever had worked on. He was in his late teens and had some pretty big sore issues. Took a couple of treatments to get him right and he still remembers being sore from her. But she does wonders. Has kept me running on horses I couldn't figure out what was wrong if that tells yo something. Money well spent every time. |

They might be a little tender in some spots and fidget(or even threaten to kick or bite) but once she gets them worked through it and get the muscle to release you can see the difference.
My husbands rope horse is very stoic and standoffish but he turns into a puppy dog during a massage so it must feel good. He will also fall asleep and dang near fall on his face.
You can feel the difference it makes when you ride them. Well worth the money in my opinion! |
