Location: In Ky following Barrel Races & Walker hounds. | I know exactly how you feel, I have my husband thank goodness, but when harvest season comes I am going to be very, very lonely. I dont really like many of our neighbors, I don't have a thing in common with most of them. I wish I had a friend out there I could atleast walk dogs with. I walk them all alone, and take routes away from houses where I know people sit out on their porches, just to avoid talking to some of them. A lot of them had caused my FIL a lot of problems right before he passed away(nitpicky things, like calling the codes dept because of an old building they considered an "eye sore" that was there way before he moved in, rather than talking to him about it, they called in on him). I just don't care to look at them and hear their fake "Im so sorry about Wilson". My days consist of going to visit my mom, and take care of horses, coming home and working on house projects, visiting with my husband while I can, and walking dogs. I never mention feeling lonely or anything to Dustin, I know he works his butt off so we can have a better life than what either of us had when we were kids, and I appreciate it so, so much, but some days I wish we could hit the lottery or I could find a money tree so he didn't have to work so much lol.
All of my "friends" within the last couple of years have dwindled down slowly, plucking themselves off one at a time by seeing how they can screw me over. I go to the track and visit people there, but once October hits they tend to scatter into the wind until next May when Ellis opens back up.
Some days these things don't bother me, but others I just want to sit and cry.
Sorry I rambled so badly on your post, you have me on FB, and I will send you my number if you want. You are not alone! I am right there with you, as well as many other people! Just remember, all of us on BHW think you are pretty great!! |

I've already said it, but I honestly don't know how I would make it without you all. I love you all and couldn't even start to thank you for what you have done for me.
I am doing a lot better. I delivered my foal and spent the weekend with my sister, Jessica, and her kids. My niece, Bella, was glued to me and there was no way I could feel bad with her around. She wouldn't give me a second to feel bad lol. Needless to say, I got home late last night very, very tired and, finally, slept like a baby after a week of hardly any sleep. I have decided to go back next weekend to do it all again.....hopefully, she'll run me ragged again lol. Many hugs to you all for the thoughts, support and worry. I am a very blessed person to have you in my life :) |

| I'm glad you're feeling better! I felt this exact way over the winter, luckily summer distracts me. I also spend a lot of time with my sisters and nieces/nephews... Its definetely suppose to get easier so count on that. Always available to talk also, i work overnights so I am up very late! I love to travel, maybe ill have to shoot down to LA someday, but I might steal on of your horses |
