| I met him on POF. Not at all like the majority I have met there. Reeealllly makes me wonder why he's single lol. I'll let you know if I end up tied to some steel framed bed in a basement.... or the news will. Anywho, pretty cute, 5yrs older than me, has a future, making something of himself, seems to be smart, mature, funny ect. We have only texted for about a week and we have talked on the phone 3 times. We really have hit it off- so far. We are going to race go karts tonight. I'm a touch nervous for that because I suck lol. BAD lol
I AM SO NERVOUS.
I just picked out a tshirt and jeans to wear. I am trying to be as "me" as possible. |

| Whiteboy that is a good question/ point. He is currently a welder so makes decent money. He's had the same truck for 3 years (or so he says) paid cash for it. Older model F250.

| Just remember, if he makes good money but doesn't have anything to show for it probably means he blows it on hookers and booze. Neither of those are really cohesive with a long term relationship.

| Hi guys :) I'm glad you guys are worried about me and even know I'm a night owl. I work nights :)
Here's the scoop: mucho shorter than expected but that doesn't bother me. Pretty eyes and pretty smile. Really sweet. Wash to get along with. He paid for everything. We went and rode the 45mph go karts and went downtown OKC and hung out. The karts were sooo much fun. Downtown was cool. We ate & talked. He is really nice. Very very smart. Big vocabulary. Only downfall is he talks A LOT about random crap. Very "insightful" but the kid of life lesson insightful that you hear from your dad so I was like anywho... Lol.
Not sure how I feel. Maybe in disappointed I didn't OMG like him right off the bat. That's what happened in my last 2 relationships that meant so much to me but maybe I need to wake up and realize that's not reality?
Anyway I might go to a rodeo with him tomorrow. Maybe if I get some beer in him he'll relax and shut up (sorry I'm tired and had a few after I got home). Mom says it was nerves. I hope so. Lol |

| He's probably an inch taller than me. Maybe same height. I don't think shorter though. I never really looked at that part because I have dated (long term-3yrs) short in the past and it didn't bother me at all. |

Location: Texas | Hey well I say that still counts as being a good date! I definitely think he was nervous... IMO thats a good thing though. Atleast he's not the kind of guy thats been with a million and one other girls. My best bet is that he just doesn't get out enough and that would be way he's single and online dating. I will also add I always thought if I didn't fall in love with a guy the second I met him that it would never happen, but this past year I met a guy and he was alright, I could tell he was into me but I kept giving him the "just friends" vibe cause that's all I was feeling... Well 2 months later we were still friends and saw eachother alot I woke up and had "that" feeling about him. It was the weirdest thing ever all of a sudden he was perfect and everything I had ever wanted lol so I say don't close him off yet but thats just me! |

Rofl not stealing the thread but my SO pulled up in a van not on our first date but when he asked me out. Hahahaha big green van with no windows in the back (his plumbing work van). I joke with him all the time about it. |

He was a med student, I just got out of a crappy relationship. Mine was a cheater, his a gold digger. He wasn't even in town when we first started talking. We text a bunch, then talked on the phone then skyped for 2 weeks and met at 3am while I was beyond drunk at waffle house cause I begged him to come out lol!

| Hey everybody! So I hung out with him again. I included beer this time trying to get him to relax and shut up lol well it didn't work. It's crazy because via text message and talking on the phone we get along great but in person he just won't hush about the dumbest things. Hypothetically situations. Sooo here's what I have been doing. 1 I cut that date short in stead of being a turd and 2 I don't play into the word shiz he talks about anymore. I caught myself playing along and that's not me. I wa just trying to be nice and I need to be me or I'm not going to be happy. I just came to this conclusion last night so we will see where things go. Thanks everyone! |
