I am going to be purchasing a new saddle for my colt soon. I don't want to spend a lot cause I know he's gonna outgrow it. I'm trying to decide between a triple creek, pro rider, and corriente. I am also considering a treeless...
Pros, cons, the good, bad, and ugly on these saddles!!!!!
Also feel free to recommend something else. My colt is on the wider side, almost no wither, and flat. He's narrower in his front end than he is in the back/loin.
Thanks!

I have a corriente. Their prices reflect their value...I bought it for my hubby to trail ride in just so he had something because he isn't much of a rider. It's decent. Their rough out is VERY rough and will rub your legs raw. Everyone who has ridden in the saddle complains. Besides that its alright!

I had no problem with the rough out on the Corriente. BUT it would throw me forward. Maybe it was me. Its a good saddle for a trail ride but I did not like the feel for racing.

Love love my triple creek. Would buy another one if I had the spare money! Doesn't throw me forward ever, keeps my legs underneath me but they never go to far back. I feel like you get much more than what you pay for.
