I am majorly freaking out right now. I am on our county Farm Bureau board and tonight we are having our annual meeting (couple hundred people). Our President just called an asked if I would give the invocation. First off, while I typically don't mind public speaking, but this is way more people than I have ever had to speak in front of. Second, I am terrible at prayer and I have no idea what to say!

my advice - short and simple. Don't over do it. It can be a simple thank you Lord, keep us all civil and understanding, help lead us down the path you would want, yadda yadda yadda ...
I'm sure you'll do well and don't be afraid to write some notes on a little card!
