I'll tell you what. I'd rather it was controlled by lawyers than politicians. You can catch a politician in a lie or being corrupt and they just keep on keeping on... Catch a lawyer doing the same thing and it's the end of their carrier.. Disbarment and everything. Upshot is, they are less likely to do wrong. |

You DO understand what a recall election is right?? The difference here is Nixon and Obozo would need a National recall.... Such a thing would not be necessary to remove her from office.... if the people wanted her gone, this is the way to do it... not by the governor cutting funding to one of her departments via an abuse of his veto powers in a personal attack. |

I'm not trying to change anything about Texas. Sure I might b!tch about a thing or two, but I think most people have a few gripes about adjustments they make whenever they move. I'd rather talk about things I love about Texas, starting with the people. Texas is one of the few places remaining in this country where the stench of progressive liberalism isn't pervasive. I can handle the few liberal enclaves in Texas. They serve a useful purpose as a sober reminder.....plus they provide entertainment...like a zoo. |

| Well, my two cents is this. When Brewer and Arpaio pissed on the king's shoes, stuff came down the pike. What Perry did isn't new...these guys use their status everyday *every party* they ALL pull strings from time to time to circumnavigate the red tape to get something done. It would have been swept under the rug except see now..Ricky went and Pee'd all over Obama's Blue Suede Shoes...
Plus, don'tcha know...it's good to get the media to talk about this instead of talking about Hamas and a beheaded journalist and Christian children being killed in front of parents. Let's divert the public from what really matters.
How about this new sur charge at the airport that the Feds claim it's intended use is to trim the national debt. *BELLY LAUGH* there sure are quite a few little extra charges showing up on things but nobody seems to know where the money goes...
What if we find out we've been funding those bastards with guns this whole time? What then?
I don't know if Rick Perry is a good Governor or not, but I do know, they caught a minnow and are passing it off as a big mouth bass.
