I went to the burn barrel this morning to burn some trash. I stepped in a damn gopher hole and landed flat on my front. Twisted my ankle and landed on my left wrist. OUCH.... The lucky part was I had mowed all the stickers toward the fence and didn't land in any stickers.... It took me about 5 minutes to get off the ground because of my torn shoulder!!!

Not these... We had knocked them down and the rain this year ran them into little gullies. and when I mow the grass all looks flat. I'll have to take a cane with me to feel around like a blind person.

Wack-a-mole came to mind when I read cane... Can we play wack-a-gopher intead?? Or would that be socially unacceptable?? LOL

I had a gopher fall into our window well and before I knew he was there he chewed the siding on the house. We have gopher condos all over the place. The little rodents.
