Has anyone had better results than the other, they both have guarantees and they promote the same things.

Equibone! I emailed them when I was looking at it and got a very helpful response, and so far his 2 splints have gone down and he's noticably more comfortable in general (navicular).
ETA: I have not used OCD pellets so I can't give my $.02 on that.

Would Equibone help one that has a twisted/sprained ankle with swelling?

If it's just a twist w/ no bone damage I would think anti inflammatories and ice would do more to help, but I'm not a vet.

Steam rolled oats and prairie hay.  I add a little water and an ounce of Healthy Coat oil to the grain to help the Equibone stick.
The stuff is great!
