Location: Planet Earth.... | Am I the only one who doesn't really care for these horses's dispositions? They seem extremely hot and fragile, specifically ones by Rare Form. Very needy personality and you don't see many of them be successful in the barrel pen. |

Location: Texas | My best horse is out of a daughter of Rare Form. She is by Strawflyin Buds
She's a big mare, 15.3 and very wide. She's insanely fast between the barrels and I really enjoy riding her. I was told she was not an angel when she was younger and she couldn't find a bit that would make her happy. I also know I found out an old injury of hers has left one of her hocks to be a pretty gnarly arthritic mess, and injecting her hocks has eliminated her head shaking.
Since March 2014 we have won around $1700 all at races with about 130-150 runners. All of the money won has been in the 1D.

Location: midwest mama | I raised two grandsons of The Signature, and they were both awesome. Great personalities, very easy, and VERY talented. LOVED them! They both are great barrel horses. Due to my busy schedule I just sold both of them this spring to different people and they are both winning up a storm on them.
I know several others who have Signature horses that are running at the pros and they do well. Theirs are pretty easy to get along with also.

Location: Adopt a homeless pet - www.petfinder.com! | I have a broodmare by Fishers Dash whose dam is by The Signature. My mares dam is a full sister to Rare Form. She's about 15.2 and wide as a tank. Super sweet and quiet and mothers my old gelding. She's been a broodmare since coming off the track so I can't comment as far as barrels go. However, her 4 year old daughter was for sale on BHW a while back and had been started on barrels. The videos showed her working nicely so I hope whoever bought her continues on. |

If you are quiet and patient, they will do anything in the world for you. If you pressure and rush them into something they're unsure of, you get a brick wall and possibly spazzing out. Both are very kind tho and very talented. |

| agreed!- I have an awesome gelding who is a grandson of the signature and when I am looking at horses that appeals to me cuz I know how great he is - yes he took a little longer but he is solid and all business and will try his guts out every time I have won a ton of 1d barrel checks on him at some really big races and he is in his rodeoing seasoning year this year and he is getting checks there too- he has been worth the patience- and for sure you don't want to push them! |

This describes my The Signsture bred gelding to the T. Everyone always comments how well mannered and calm he is but I've always know while training him that if you pushed too hard or he didnt understand ad you kept picking he'd get hot or blow up. I made it a point to keep his mind and even my SO has said the same thing about him when he was roping off him you could just tell f you pushed too far he'd let you know he's had enough. |

Location: Texas | Mine definitely requires a gentle hand. I could see in the wrong hands blowing her up. She's a very sweet mare and tries 100000% every time. But I could see if you were to over do it it wouldn't be well. I don't think she would handle the rodeo atmosphere very well but I only tried it once so far. |

Location: Hill Country of TEXAS!! | Jonetta Fame's grand sire on the bottom is The Signature. I LOVED her in the barrel pen. She was mentally ruined on the track before i bought her and even with that she accomplished a lot in the arena. Super tough willed, huge heart because she ran on a bad ankle for 3 years which she never showed pain to until it was really bad and she still ran for me. I would have a couple Signature mares in my pasture any day. I have not had experience with rare form horses so no comment on them.

Location: At A Barrel Race! | Well I am currently going to pick up a yearling with Rare Form AND My Signature in his dams bloodlines. Never had a horse with those horses in their bloodlines, so hopefully I have good luck with him. From the comments, looks like their fast. And I already have a top 1D barrel horse out of the colts sire... so hopefully it will be a good match.  |

| Seriously, it's like we have the same horses. Haha! I bought my The Signature granddaughter when she was 5 and she was green broke. 15.3 and she is as wide as she is tall!! I am 5'4" and her hip is taller than i am. She is 8 now, and it's taken my sister 3 years to put a solid, quiet pattern on her because she would get hot and all strung out. Now, she is AWESOME. Sadly she is up for sale, but if she doesn't sell by fall, I'm keeping her! She has gears we haven't even touched yet. I think she would make a great rodeo horse. Those extra years spent with her were worth it because she is really fun to ride now, very VERY light, gentle, has all of the buttons in the world, and a BIG stop.

Location: Tulsa, Ok | I had a son of Rare Form out of a strait thorobred mare and fragile was not a trait I ever saw in him. He was probably the smartest, most willing and trainable horse I have ever had the privledge to own/ride. He came off the track with and excellent mind and one of the softest mouths I have ever seen. He literally learned to run barrels in a week. I know that sounds ridiculous but a few walk thrus, a few trot thrus and he was fast loping the barrels prefectly. Took him to a jackpot for his first exibition in week two and he came out of a blind alley hunting. After that we started entering up and placing and never looked back. Sadly he broke his leg in a freak accident just as he was peaking. One of the worst days of my life. With all that being said he did occasionally become frustrated if he could not get what you were asking on the first try. When that happened all I had to do was back to square one and show him again and within a short time he would be ready to move forward. |

Location: The Great West | This stallion is a son of Rare Form and out of a AAA daughter of Joyful hope and what a genleman! Nothing excites him. When we got him he had barley been touched and not saddled in about 10 years. The third day we had him we had is feet trimmed and he stood like a veteran for it. After he finished breeding season we saddled him and only got 2-4 "crow hops" from him, can't wait to get him going this fall.

My mare is by Rare Olene who is by Rare Form. I don't think she's fragile minded at all. Very sweet and easy to do anything with. She is very competitive bottom of 1D and top of 2D. I bred her to Frenchmans Feature this year so I am excited to have a baby out of her. |

| We have a granddaughter of The Signature who is the sweetest horse we have ever owned. My 9 year old ran her for the first time yesterday and won every event she entered. When she was going a little fast, a light pickup and she slowed right down. Fantastic on the ground and so pretty to boot. Wish my barn was full of horses just like her! |

This describes my The Signature grandson to a T. But he'll outwork and out perform almost any horse. I'm confident that he would be a blown up mess if he had gotten in the wrong hands. He's definitely only a horse for a confident rider. But I wouldn't trade him for the world. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | We owned a son of Rare Form. He was a doll, really easy to get along with and quiet minded. Now his babies were a different story. Once they were handled and halter broke, they came around. But they were difficult to say the least to halter break. They needed handled from birth, not at 5 months. He is standing at a new place and they handle his babies and do very well with them. I would take a chance on a Rare Form daughter. |

| I have a 5 year old daughter of One Rare Bug> Rare Form. She is a handful. It takes a special type of person to have patience with her. I bought her as a 2 year old off the tack. She's too smart which is a problem sometimes. She's gritty and quick. She also has a lot of quirks. I love her no doubt but I'm not sure if I had one to train like her all over again I would want to.
She's starting to get level headed and turning into a really nice barrel horse.....finally.

But she has some other horses in her pedigree that are known to be solid minded. Her 2014 colt by HAB is the calmest, coolest sucker I have been around for a very long time. In fact, I'm really picky about the boys getting gelded young because they are so naughty. This one I can see leaving a colt for a while.
