I run my horse in a Goostree Simplicity Bit with a loose curb chain. My mare really likes it.
She is a ratey type horse and I have had some people tell me that I shouldn't be using a curb chain on her with this bit.
What do you all that ride with this bit do? Curb chain or no curb chain? How was it meant to be used? I watched Carol's video about her bits and she doesn't really say.

Any of Carol's bits can be used with and without a curb strap. Do whatever feels best for you and your horse. Which ever way your horse is more comfortable in it. I have even turned some of her bits upside down. I love all her bits!

You can use it with or without a curb. If your mare is running good with it as is, I'd leave it alone. If you feel like it might be a tad too much for her with the curb, you can always loosen the curb and see if that frees her up.

I agree with this ^^^^ Are if you feel the curb is to much you can also use a med. thick nylon string, I use the string on alot of my bits.
