Location: where ever my L/Q trl is parked | Been there...didn't enter the futurity, but ran the open . I didn't care for the arena- very old rock building...small arena. The barns are nice (newer) although I had to change stalls - there were nails in the walls that someone put in and didn't take out. The people in the office told me to find a stall then come back and let them know what #, but they might have changed that now. They have a covered warm up arena which I really liked. They have limited RV hook ups, but lots of people parked closer to the arena and ran long electical cords to their L/Q's. They have lots of primitive parking out past the barns. It was cooler at night so had to wear light jackets. Been a number of years so can't remember if I entered early or when I got there on Thursday. But the first day of open I ran around 4/5 pm then Saturday I ran like 1:30 or 2 am. I'm not a late night rider so wasn't real happy. The ground was good- never saw any horses slip or fall. Have not entered again, but have gone up for the JL auction....didn't have enough money to buy any horses. Looked at them all -saw a few with conformation flaws. |

It's going to be our first futurity......gulp! You only live once, right? Kinda curious as to what most people thought of the Amateur side pot?
I like the facility, I've run at other events there in the last few years. My checkbook won't let me buy any prospects, but I'll have fun watching the sale. |

| This will be my first time going, not entering the futurity though. Really looking forward to it!
Do they usually run out of hookups? My friend called and said they only had 42 with water... Kinda has us a bit worried coming in on Thursday. |

They told me today that they can accommodate for about 90.... Do they run extension cords or how do they go about doing it? |
