Location: USA | What kind of preventative therapy does everyone do? GameReady is ice/compression therapy, correct? Has anyone ever heard of or used the UltrOZ system? It's a Low Intensity Therapeutic Ultrasound thingamajig. I currently poultice the legs after a run and do a body liniment spray, but I was wondering if I needed to do more?? I want to keep everyone feeling good and enjoying their job. I'm open to any and all suggestions. |

| The ice vibe boots are basically vibration with the option to cool down. The game ready is compression therapy. I start using them three days put from a run. The ice vibes infuse the ice after indium with the vibration. |

 Go For It!
Location: Texas | Honestly… I don't really do much of anything… I make sure that my horses are in good condition (exercise, eat right, plenty of turnout), I give a daily vitamin supplement and use a PHT magnetic blanket on my older gelding the day & night before a competition and during hauling. I won't ice unless they need it and I haven't ever seen any of the other products make a really big difference. I know we all want that special something that will give us a winning edge… But I believe that a good horse is a good horse, and a good CONSISTENT exercise and feed program is the very best thing that you can do for them.
I don't get too carried away with my feed either - alfalfa, crimped oats with a little added Canola oil and a daily probiotic. It works for me and for them.
Good luck!

I agree for the most part. I also use a PHT blanket and PHT 3-n-1 wraps, plus my gray lives in his PHT bell boots. I have used a photonic torch and liked it if they're sore somewhere, but I don't do a ridiculous amount of extra therapy. Mine do haul in Soft Ride boots and if we're parked somewhere that's hard ground, pavement or gravel, I keep the boots on them as much as possible. I'm not a big ice user unless there's something specific to treat, and I very rarely cold hose their legs as therapy. About the only cold therapy I do is poultice during a really rough weekend with lots of miles and or runs. |

| The Ultra Oz is great. i have a lot of people using with great success. It a lot easier to use and less expensive then using a Laser. I have both, |
