Location: DUMPING CATS AND PIGS IN TEXAS :) | Sadly, I have a toe fungus. The medicine has a lot of side effects and is particularly bad for your liver and it requires blood work every six weeks and it won't kill what I have by date time. Normally, I don't care, but I have a date and I am thinking about my fungus toes now.... |

My niece and I have both lost a few toenails over the years for different reasons and we just paint the skin where they should be and no one ever notices.

Location: GA | The medicine was worth it for me! Years of toenail fungus gone. They took blood to check my liver to make sure everything looked okay before taking it. Took the meds once a day for a couple of months, had blood checked again, everything went great!
They say the odds of the medicine harming you is slim but of course it depends on the person. Before, I had to keep my toenails painted.
I know the medicine can make people nervous, just saying I survived! lol |

Location: Missouri | I love the stickers! I get the Kiss brand from Dollar General (and no I don't think they smell funky per the earlier Dollar General thread LOL). They only cost $3 and you can get french manicure, patterns, a little bling..really cool. Mine easily survive a three day rodeo on my fingernails, so I'm sure they would hold up fine on toenails for a date, even if it included skinny dipping and said date got ummmm extended a day or three. |

Actually, I'm getting taken to a Motley Crue concert!! And, as it turns out, Motley Crue members all hate each other (I'm just finding this out). So, with any luck, Vince Neil and Nikki Sixx will throw down on stage AND, THAT WILL BE THE BEST CONCERT EVER!!!! |

| I've done the gels as a polish on my toes and it cleaned up the surface look just fine. However, earlier this year, I messed up one of my big toe nails pretty badly and needed to quick fix it for a party I was planning. I did Kiss ones I think? They were french tips but the color was really off, so I had to repaint the non-white part with a more natural nude color. It worked just fine as long as I clipped my other nails down super short so they didn't show under the stick on. And I used the nail glue so I could make sure they stayed all day. They lasted a week or so before I had to take them off. And that was only because I could see the grow out and didn't like the line. |

Yikes!!! LOL! I have been in the same boat and cut a nail down way below when I was getting ready to go to Vegas. They applied a tip on the one toenail which looked great. I also had the pedi. Actually that tip lasted all summer. Just kept growing out and when it was done the nail was fine again. Old age sucks....I don't care what anyone says!!! |

If she has a toe fungus, she shouldn't go get a pedicure. She could spread that to someone else especially since not all places clean everything properly.
A mix of formaldehyde and iodine smeared on that toe would probably kill that fungus. lol |

Or she can wear a pair of HIGH heeled leather boots (that lace up the front) and break out her whip collection. I hear men REALLY like that |

If she has a toe fungus, she shouldn't go get a pedicure. She could spread that to someone else especially since not all places clean everything properly.
A mix of formaldehyde and iodine smeared on that toe would probably kill that fungus. lol
or rot off the whole foot.... |

I've gotten it on my hands before even with an open sore there & it didn't rot anything off. Just stung and then the pain was gone. haha Great for a horse sole, just not for the frog..... too drying. Don't know the ratio. I assume more iodine than formaldehyde. lol Got it from a vet.
So LRQHS did you get the new fake toenails yet?

The vets I used to work for made up some stuff to toughen feet.. it was equal parts formalin, iodine and glycerin. Is this what you are thinking of Sodapop? |
