I have a 4 yr old (off the track with only one out) who keeps going out. When he's walking he doesn't track right in his back right leg. Rubbing around on him it felt like his stifle. We took him and had a chiro work on him and it worked! He had been out just about every where. Well, I gave him the allotted time off and rode him twice. I then left for college and he was put on the walker every once in a while at a walk both directions and was turned out. Came back two weeks later, got on and he was out AGAIN in his back right. What would be the best plan of action? Take him back to the chiro or go straight to the vet? And what could it be making him go out like this?

Thanks in advance!!!

just because you got him worked on once doesn't mean its goin to last.......it may take multiple times and even a trip to a good horse vet to solve the issue.................

Mruggles is correct. muscles are active bones are passive. you have to retrain the muscles to where they need to be not where they think they should be

My chiro always says 3 or 4 visits plus the right amount of exercise to retrain those muscles to keep the bones in the right spot.

Wish I could get adjusted and acupuncture that regularly

I would go to the vet and the to the chiro. Probably not what you wanted to hear.
