This is my 5yr old Scrutinizer gelding I have been slow getting him going , he got hurt then I got hurt but we are finally starting to add some speed. So thought I would share a few pictures while I wait for the sun to warm things up this morning. It is not too exciting I know !

Oh my goodness! He almost looks identical to my 4 year old Scrutinizer gelding! Mine is also solid bay; how is yours bred on the bottom side? Mine has been a breeze to break and get started, almost too smart and is crazy athletic. We've just been trail riding a lot and roping on him, so we're barely loping the pattern right now. Here's my boy's pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/lester+hugh
ETA: Excuse his tubby-ness LOL. We took a bit of break this summer due to the heat.

I like your and his pedigree . Mine is out of a daughter of Raise Your Glass that is known for putting tough colts on the ground but this guy has been a breeze and is super solid for the amount of time he has on him. He impaled himself with the fence this summer so just getting going again.
