I have been toying around with the idea of breeding my mare in 2015 if she needs more time off. She had an SI injury this spring that sidelined us for a bit, but she seems to be coming back sound after injections and rehabbing. She had only been on the pattern for about 6 months but I loved how she was coming along. If she comes back sound I will breed her in a few years, but I am just curious what people would like to see crossed on her.

I love my rare bars! Have 3 of them, 2 mares, 1 colt. I have crossed the mares on blazin Jetolena, Bhr frenchies socks, ain't seen nothin yet and firewater at fame. I have pics of the Jetolena and frenchies socks on my FB page. By far I think blazing Jetolena produced the nicest put together colt, firewater ya fame produced a close 2nd out of my rare bar mares.

I have this mare http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/streakin+in+the+bar and bred her to Perks Alive and Jess Zoomin. Love the babies, I started them myself and both are so athletic and easygoing! She is in foal to Slick by Design and I am planning on breeding her to Blazin Jetolena next year!

Found some pics I could post of my rare bar mares offspring. First is the Blazin Jetolena yearling, then the Ain't Seen Nothin Yet Yearling (two different rare bar mares), and then the current weanling is by BHR frenchies socks out of the same rare bar mare as the BJO.

Blazin Jet O Lena is a really good idea! I know of two really nice Rare Bar horses out of Jet Of Honor mares- George Mobley and then "Little George" (I don't remember his registered name) but he ran a 17.1 in the 2D Shootout at ANHA with a friend of mine's daughter. He's awesome.
