| I love mine!!!!!!!!!!!
Fits a variety of horses, love the double rigging for stirrups. I prefer the 5" cantle over the 4". After I bought one, I would say 10-15 friends now have them. |

Its an ultraflex... just wanted to clarify that because a lot of flex trees dont move like the DS does. |

What exactly does ultraflex mean? I've looked on the website but can't really find a good explanation |

I spoke to Deb Sibley herself before I bought mine. Basically she stated its a tree made of the most flexible material they could develop. I am sure she has the actual materials but my saddle basically flexes in half when I am carrying it. Slightly irritating when you're trying to throw it on the top shelf in the trailer lol

Mine did it right out of the gate for the most part... I have the 4" cantle and my saddle is a bit longer than I prefer. So i dont know if that has something to do with it. Its not as bad as a bob marshall but if you are tossing it up high it will bend. |

Location: Illinois | I am going to drag this back out of the grave.. does the 5" cantle make the seat seem smaller? Like if I usually ride in a 14.5 with the 4" cantle should I get a 15 in the 5"? Also does anyone know the measurments of the QH and Full QH bars?

Location: USA | Yes the 5" makes it smaller. Per Jimmy at Panther Canyon, 6 1/2" semi QH, 6 3/4" QH, and 7" for full QH bars. |

Yes the 5 inch cantle will make a tighter seat, I would go up 1/2 if you order a 5 inch. |

Location: Ellensburg, Washington | I got a brand new one (FQH) in June and it doesn't fit my horse big shouldered horse right. I have an older (probably pre-2010) that I LOVE and fits both my big guy and my narrow horse!! I am wondering if they would sell my FQH for me or trade for a Reg QH saddle. It is a 15in with 4 in cantle. |

Location: USA | From what I understand, you can send it back to them and have the bars adjusted. I ordered one today and I kept worrying if the fit would be too big and he said I could send it back in to be adjusted. I also know a lady who ordered the QH fit and sent hers back in for a custom fit for a specific horse. |

Location: Illinois | Thank you for all this info! I can't decide what size I need. The saddle I ride my big mare in now is a 7 in gullet and it seems to fit her a little snug because she is getting dry spots behind her shoulders. I am hoping this saddle will remedy this problem. I am thinking the FQH bars are my best choice. |

My understand is they use the W&C for the chestnut leather as the color is more consistent and maybe something with the tooling? I think the other colors they use HO |

Location: NE TX | I use a Todd Sloane (sp), too lazy to look it up lol. I LOVE it and so does my mare, but like any of them that have the cut out over the withers make sure you pull up that front off the withers to keep it from pushing on the withers. Other than that, great pad IMHO.

The Herman Oak is suppose to carve better and the Craig and Wickett doesn't stretch like the Herman Oak does. Like I said...there are different grades and qualities in both. |
