Location: Middle Tennessee | I didn't want to hijack the other thread but my gelding was just diagnosed with a strained suspensory branch (the inside one) on his right front. No tear, but it did hemhorrage. What is recovery time for something like that? Vet was talking about PRP, stemcell, and shockwave. What do y'all prefer?
Right now we are doing a recheck at 3 weeks and going from there. I've been icing, poulticing, and using the pony plate. He's still very lame tho. Should he be? On my initial visit he said the lameness should have been gone by this past monday. |
