I have been doing some freelance bookkeeping for a company in addition to my regular job, and I'd like to add another couple of clients and turn it into more of a side business. I've got a few ideas, but nothing I'm in love with. Any suggestions would be very helpful - I'm not very creative!I really like the "Beyond Bookkeeping" name, but the name/website are already being used.

Are you targeting local clients? If so, I'd try to work that into the name, like Houston Bookkeeping (or whatever city you're near) or if you're targeting clients in a particular type of business use that in there instead. If you plan on getting a website, it'll help with the search rankings. A lot of companies looking for a bookkeeper in Houston would probably type in "houston bookkeeping" and if that's your business name, it'd be like they were searching just for you and you're website would be likely to come up first. Just something to keep in mind.

I am closest to Kansas City, but I was thinking of adding that more to my "tag-line." Something like....bookkeeping, payroll and small business solutions serving the greater Kansas City area.....or something like that.
And apparently I don't know how to run a poll.....I meant to leave spaces for other people to put options!
