Ok with all the sad and negative things going on I wanted to start a post for good thoughts.

My happy news! Im getting my first pup of my own since years ago. Been around all the boyfriends dogs and my mom still has our family dogs but broke down and got a bordercollie/catahoula.

What else is good with the world?

Another positive. After our snow melted from two weeks ago, we have had beautiful fall weather. Lots of sunshine and very nice warm weather.. Loving fall right now!!!

I am getting my Meleeta Brown demo saddle this week and now I can ride! My essential oils have eliminated my dependence on asthma medicine for now.
Congrats on your pup, too. This is a great way to start the week, thanks.

We are looking at a week of pleasant, low humidity weather that will facilitate harvest and riding horses. Love fall!

Oh I LOVE this idea!!

Congrats on the new puppy - I enjoy the smell of puppy breath ... not big dog breath, puppy breath. (yes, I know I'm strange)

My happy positive items ... I rode my 3 yo filly through patterns at a steady lope while shooting in a jackpot this weekend! She is showing me everytime we ride that she enjoys the jobs I've given her ... she is going to make one HECK of a sorting and mtd shooting horse!! I'm still on cloud nine with her!

Also - the fiance and I are flying home to my family this weekend for a reunion. He knows my immediate family really well but has never met the rest of the clan ... Let the beer drinking and bonfires commence!!!

I'll join in. Nice weather and this Saturday we are putting on our first Country Music Festival in our pasture. OMG...lol. And I'm trailer shopping (which isn't fun in itself, but at least I finally can!).

Have a great week~!

My two year old is home from the trainer (for a bit) so I can enjoy her. Our four year old is with Teryn Muench and we fill very good about his future (which was looking spotty because of his bucking).

I'm exhausted and sore, but doing well otherwise.

Waking up to another beautiful, God given day.

Went to a local Gymkhana saturday. At the end they held a 4D jackpot. My little Buckskin and I took 1st in the 1D.

LOL, granted I won it with a 19.013. But I DID win. : )

Congrats on the pup!! Our Corgi/Blue Heeler girl just had her first (and last) litter!! Six healthy puppies; two boys and four girls. I'm very tempted to keep on of the puppies since she's getting fixed right after her pups are gone and they're just so darn cute!!

After applying and applying, I finally landed an interview at a very large tack store in Alberta:) Been dreaming about making a move out there from Ontario for years and I'm getting closer:) It's a good day!

Beautiful day today, no humidity and temps in the low 80's, great riding weather.

Picked up a tiny kitty out  of the middle of a busy road yesterday, scared to death and lying flat against the pavement.  My husband's secretary is going to give it a home.

Hubby will be home from work soon, always the best part of my day when he walks through the door.
