The righteous way of life is available for us through Christ 2 Cor. 5:21 Thus, it is possible for us to be the salt and light that the world yearns for and to make a difference in the places we occupy. Being righteous, therefore , is much more than deeds alone; it encompasses our attitude toward others and ourselves as well.
The righteous know their standing with God are able to walk within the boundaries of their God given authority to bring about change in the world around them. Their vision is much broader and higher than that of the world, and they are willing to act accordingly.
Fear is displaced by God's perfect time love 1 John 4:18 which enables the righteous to enter into His redemptive plan for the earth. The righteous way of life is a tool God uses to reveal His love, His power, and His desire for everyone to come to Him.
Proverbs 10: 29 But the righteous has an everlasting foundation.

Thank you Sheila. Applying righteousness to my actions comes easily; to my attitude.....not so easy. A daily struggle - reading this today sure helps!!
