This has been an absolute dream of mine to become a deputy sheriff....and I received the call today for an interview with one of the counties sheriff department for one of the deputy positions. I have the interview next thursday at 3 pm. I need lots of prayers, and good thoughts to make it through this because I'm a nervous wreck and want to make it past the first step of the employment process!!!!

I can tell how bad you want it from reading your post, and I'm sure the interviewers will see that you want to do a good job. Just be confident in your abilities and realistic about your limitations (because that's a question they like to ask in interviews... strengths and areas you think need improvement as well as what you're doing to improve). You will be fine.
