I myself am guilty of not posting much and will work on that. I really think we need to focus on welcoming new people and encouraging people who need support. |

| I read the posts to learn things, the more information the better. I don't have a horse right now and most of the time don't feel qualified to say anything. |

I agree with this.
I only comment on the posts I have experience with. The rest of the ones I click on, I'm reading to learn as much as I can. |

We all have a huge bond with our love of horses and barrel racing. And yes I myself am also guilty of not posting something in thinking that I perhaps do not know enough to post. I am going to post from now on. Who am I to withhold something that just might help someone else. |

| You know the saying about how if you don't have anything nice to say, shut up.......
That is why I have become more of a reader than a poster. So many come on here looking for a magic fix and then argue when good advice is given by experienced horse people it leaves me frustrated. I still read a lot, but seldom say much.
I'll share a video from today. This horse stressed beyond belief at ANHA and I think he is finally recovering. Still lacking a bit in energy though. http://vid212.photobucket.com/albums/cc118/kmcsunshine/IMG_0299_zpsf55506fd.mp4 |

Honestly...I think this forum is MUCH more friendly and less argumentative than just about any other forum I've been on. Sometimes folks don't like to hear opinions different than their own...and sometimes those differing opinions are delivered in a less than friendly way...but all in all I think this group puts the "Fun" in DisFUNctional!
Now if you go over to the Archery Talk forums...whooo...those boys are snarky and way more drama than any other forum of girls! There are girls on that site...but most of us just read the informative posts and keep on scrolling! And guys say WE are the drama queens! LOL
Often here I read a thread and just enjoy...I tend to only chime in when I think I can add to the conversation. Well...and sometimes I forget to take my meds! |

Location: Eastern OH but my heart is in WV | I have to say, BHW is my go to release at work during breaks and lunch but I can't post much. I REALLY, REALLY miss the "like" button, just for that purpose alone. A lot to times, especially with pictures and Lady Jockey's posts, I enjoyed letting people know that I "liked" it without posting on a public chat board during work hours. I can freely look during breaks and lunch but just should not be posting. Now IF I have time in the evenings, I don't mind posting. |
