One of the young girls in my horse friends had custom order treeless saddle off the internet in march. The add stated 90 days to make. She gets this saddle in the mid June its way off one side the stirrups were 3 inches more forward than the other, nails out of the bottom and the rawhide not finished all the way around. Told the lady she was sending it back wanted her money back she refused and said was going to make a new one. Now the it is the end of the running year no saddle out alot of money more than I would have ever paid, sent money by checks. Anyway she can get her money back she has a big treeless Facebook page and I feel sorry for her but she will not post any bad statements because she wants her money back any suggestions?

I think I know of whom you are talking about and something has just never sat right with me about those saddles.
Is she still in contact? I would be firm, you are sending the saddle back and pursuing another more reputable maker. If money is not returned then you'll be pursuing legal options. Perhaps a bad review is worth it at this point to add some pressure of public opinion.
