I put my horses on Renew Gold I guess about a month ago. I also added whole oats and some alfalfa pellets. They are also on THE MM. Two of them have dropped weight. Granted, my husbands rope horse WAS a little too fat so he needed to drop some anyway but we went to a roping last night ive noticed hes dropping too much now he had to change out to a smaller cinch even. This horse got outran last night and that has never EVER happened. My horse is naturally on the leaner side anyway and I sure dont want him to drop ANY weight. I was really wanting this renew gold to work for us I love the concept of it and mixing my own. I also feed soaked beet pulp in the am. They are allon the 1 1/2lb a day and they get pasture time twice a week on decent grass. And we feed decent coastal hay. All they will clean up. Im tempted to go back to my old grain. I dont know what else to add and I really dont want to add anymore kinda defeats the purpose if I need to add more was trying to cut my feed bill. Should I give the rg more time to do its thing anyone else have this issue?

it took my mare a couple months to really pick up and look nice. I tried it on a few others and didn't feel it would work for them without costing me more. but I LOVE this feed for my main barrel mare. she gets 1# divided into 2 feeding with a little beet pulp, she also gets coastal and alfalfa(sometimes flakes, other times soaked cubes).
