| I would teach them to load and stand tied for short amounts of time. Just remember weanlings have short attention spans. Keep any "lessons" short and successful. They can get frustrated quickly. I used to work for a gal who raised 8 or 10 a year and typically we would put 4 or 5 in a sale in the fall. I would fit them for sale. So, we would work them for short times in the round pen, halter break them, let them stand tied for short times, groom them, wash them, clip them, mess with their feet. |
