Location: Bastrop, Texas | Today Carol (Hollywood's Fan) and I were married in a small country church near Des Moines Iowa. It was a small, intimate ceremony with mainly family members present. The reason I am posting this on BHW is simple.....had it not been for BHW we probably never would have met, and for that we owe Dave, Gail, and all the fantastic board buddies of BHW a debt of gratitude.
We are both very excited to be starting this journey together, and even though we don't know where it will lead us, we will always know where it all started!

Our families were able to meet one another for the first time and they just clicked. Just as Scott and I felt the chemistry the first time we met, like we had known each other a very long time. Our kids and grand kids felt that way about one another. We are driving right now, headed back to Mn to pack and get ready for the move to Texas. We will post pics as soon as we get them. |

You two love birds sound so happy, I bet you guys makes a cute couple. This is so cool, Scott got his Texas Drivers license and a Texas women to go along with them, life is good |

We started dating long distance, one of us flying to see the other. We were only able to do that every six to eight weeks. He invited me to Thanksgiving in MN so I could meet his kids. Then I flew up again for Christmas to share it with his family, and we drove to Iowa so that he could meet mine. In May I drove up here to spend the summer. He asked me to marry him in June. Long distance dating was difficult, but we spoke on the phone probably 2 hrs. A day, LOL |
