This was a gorgeous, happy, healthy, fit filly when she loaded on the haulers trailer.
This filly had 2 health certificates about 3 weeks apart prior to her leaving our place because the buyer wasn't sure when she would get everything finalized with boarding and hauling and we wanted to be sure we were ready. If there had been anything prior going on with her, our vet would have found it. The 2nd HC was only days before she got on the War Horse Transport trailer. She also did not stress when hauling. We hauled her several times (a 4 hour trip to meet bring her closer to where the shipper could pick up) and we have cameras in our trailer and she never made a fuss and was always very calm

Owww wow, I am sorry for your loss. I read the FB-post and I can't believe they would do welding-repairs while your filly was on the trailer.... Or that they even tought it was acceptable to even do repairs instead of delivering first.....

Thanks - it was a very sad deal. The haulers told lie after lie to try to get out of being responsible for their actions. I have heard from several others who had bad hauling experiences with them also - not to this degree but still not good. They should not be allowed to even touch a horse after what they did or allowed to happen to Laci.

I agree about them not touching horses after that. And thank you for telling your story so other people can be aware of it!
