Location: Cocoa, Florida | So I entered a pretty popular local (hour away) Rodeo for the first time, I did one about 4 years ago at the state fair but they only had bull riding. I had a blast, all the sights, sounds, events and excitement really got me amped up!!! My horse handled it all great as well!!!
The only problem was he tripped going into the first barrel and the reins flew over his head, somehow when he got up I managed to grab the reins and turn it recovering pretty well but we lost some good time, (I know, coulda woulda shoulda) so we didn't get in the top 4 but 2 of the girls I rode with won $ so we had a good time for sure!!!
I'm ready to do some more rodeos and get my permit eventually, I know we may not win any but we will still have fun!
