| I'm sooooo sorry. I had to put one down in June (my favorite) to a fractured hock, and our old mare we'd had for 19 yrs (she was 23) down to colic last month. HUGS!!! |

Location: Texas | Thank you all for your prayers. I am just numb and in shock. This week has by far been the worst week of my life. Many of you know I lost my Mom on Monday and her service was Wed. I just got home from Florida late last night and was ready to go run some were to try to get my life back to a small amount of normalcy. I ran her today and she seemed fine. Put her up while I ran my other horse and people told me she was acting funny. At first she was just kicking and being her normal self when she was alone so I went to get her and she was trying to lay down etc. gave her banamine and call Honnas and he said go ahead and bring her in. It was a matter of no more than 3 hrs from her first symptom to when I let her go. I have never seen a colic go from mild to horrible so fast. One of my two best friends was at barrel race and she drove us there as I was a wreck at times. We flew there with flashers on and doing 80+ at times. It was a torsion colic and it was a bad one. My God bless her would and let some awesome jockey enjoy her till I get there. Just in shock and numb. RIP sweetness. Aka PR sweet mama Aka Gloria. |

Komet this made me laugh. mom was a city slicker from NYC and while she indulged me and my ponies the thought of her trying to ride he is comical. But I know she was per and love on her. :) |
