Lord, give me patience, and give it to me right now. Have you ever felt that way? Most of us have shared that common experience. I think it has a lot to do with the great illusion in life we call "control". And oh, how we like to think we are in control.
When life feels out of control, we will usually default to one of two positions, either we trust and wait for God to act on our behalf or we take matters into our own hands. When we choose the latter, we always risk of acting in anger, somehow believing that forcing our agenda is going to change things. God says we are to be slow to anger, and if we are able to actually overlook an offense, that is even better. James 1:20 declares that our anger never brings about the righteous life that God desires. In fact , it usually makes matters worse. I can think about some very painful times in my life and when I chose the option of an anger rather than patiently waiting on the Lord to work His ways in His time.
Proverbs 19:12 The kings wrath is like the roaring lion, but his favor is like dew on the grass. Wrath is the roaring of a lion; it breeds fear and anxiety in others. Dew is life giving to plants and is pictured as the favor or gift of God.
When we are willing to wait on the Lord to work on our behalf, He promises renewed strength and energy Isa.40:3
Does life seem to be out of control right now? Don't take matters into your own hands. Remember, His time table differs from ours, so ask God to help you wait for Him.

FOR IT IS WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

Sharing today my own battle with patience. in one day I had 4 horses get hurt, right before our year end finals, one cut her eye above her brow so eye didn't swell shut, one cut his jaw golf ball size hole, one hit hip on corner of gate thought she chipped her hip bone, had her sonogram very bad bruised lame for 3 weeks . one set back broke lead just as she landed on her butt. I SAID REALLY? then one more next day ulcer in her eye. UGH I SCREAMED OUT JESUS JESUS JESUS, devil back to HELL YOU GO, I AM A SERVANT AND JESUS IS MY LORD AND SAVIOR I HAVE VICTORY OVER ALL YOU TRY TO KILL, STEAL AND DESTROY.
I got to run two at finals, won two check, this weekend ran three, won 4 checks , novice and open YAHOO PRAISE GOD!! had 6 clean runs in two days .had headache for three days this morning gone!! feel giggly inside happy and full of patience today, YEP devil went to dial 911 AMEN
HAVE A VERY BLESSED AND PATIENT DAY GOD IS GOOD! HIS TIMING IS NOT LIKE OUR WORLD ON THE CLOCK. HE KNOWS WHEN AND TIMES EVERYTHING PERFECTLY AMEN HUGS AND LOVE TO ALL BLESS MONDAY!!!

Thanks LJ...we are so hard headed and stubborn...if we would only do what He tells us, everything will work out in His time.
