Location: Red Raiderland | I was wondering where and if they ever put up the memorial. We drove by the accident site from both directions on Ranger Hill about 6 weeks ago and did not see anything. They do have big flashing warning signs out there now but it's sad that Virginia had to lose her life to get something like that done. It is a scary hill.   |

Are you sure it was the horseshoe memorial? The head stone was a true tribute/memorial to Virginia. Those pictures were posted on a thread here.

| She really was a sweet gal. We were Christmas buddies years ago...it was so much fun swapping gifts and making each other laugh at some of the silly things we exchanged. She was one of a kind and will always be missed.

Regarding the cross: It has not been finished yet, I do know all the horse shoes that were decorated and sent are hanging on the wall. Her mom liked them too much, and wanted to be able to see them all the time! We didnt get enough to make a mega huge cross, so I'm Not sure what the plan is. |
