Has anyone pulled their groin?  I think I might have pulled mine back in May, had some discomfort walking after roping  one day and ever since then I've had a lump in my upper thigh region.  Like right where your leg meets the body, about 2 inches down.  There's this hard lump....I had a doctor look at it, we did an ultrasound and it came back normal.  Just some hardening of the tissue bit a clot of some sort.  Should I get a CAT scan?  Because they said they'd send an order if I wanted to do that.  It's annoying at times, sometimes painful, sometimes itchy (like when blood is moving-- itchy).  Anyone have anything similar happen?

I strained my groin in high school/track. I had always heard that groins take along time to heal due to not a lot of blood flow in that area. Can you get prescribed PT? I think that would help speed things along.

I pulled mine when I was a teenager falling off a horse schooling for a hunter jumper show, worst muscle pull ever! It's very painful and juat takes time to heal, I took lots of anti inflammatory meds after a few weeks of rest and started moving again slowly. Took a long time to heal but mine was bad.

I heard mine "POP" when I was trying to stay up on a horse going to the first and she turned it anyway - it took MONTHS to heal.
